Higher GST top concern for real estate developers
NOIDA: Real estate developers in Noida and Greater Noida in western Uttar Pradesh are waiting for the first budget of the Modi 3.0 government to give their industrial status to facilitate access to finance and resolve GST issues, including the 28 percent cement tax. Hoping for a “nuanced approach” to real estate, developers are seeking government support from sources other than tax breaks. The upcoming budget focuses on increasing transparency and efficiency through a strong regulatory framework and a simplified approval process.
