As a result of strong buyer confidence and inflationary pressures, the nation’s housing attitude is still strong, according to a Magicbricks poll conducted in 11 cities between March and April that drew responses from over 4,500 customers.

With the greatest HSI of 163, Ahmedabad emerged as the leader, followed closely by Hyderabad (156), Kolkata (160), Gurugram (157), and Ahmedabad (166). These cities’ gains were fueled by new real estate projects and better infrastructure.
“The current situation of India’s real estate sector reflects the most promising conditions witnessed in the past decade, instilling confidence among homebuyers and investors nationwide,” stated Sudhir Pai, CEO of Magicbricks. Notable is the fact that demand constantly outpaces supply, demonstrating positive indicators of quick assimilation when fresh product hits the market.”
According to the report, professionals in the mid-age range (24–35 years old) had the highest HSI (154). Additionally, consumers with yearly salaries between ₹10 and ₹20 lakh demonstrated the most desire to purchase a home, as seen by an HSI of 156.
