Launching of the Dwarka Expressway: According to an official statement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi traveled to Gurugram, Haryana, on Monday to officially launch and lay the cornerstone for 112 national highway projects that span the nation and have a combined estimated value of ₹One lakh crore. According to the official announcement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Haryana phase of the crucial Dwarka Expressway on Monday in order to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion on NH-48 between Delhi and Gurugram.
Route of the Dwarka Expressway: The 10.2 km Delhi-Haryana Border to Basai Rail-over-Bridge (ROB) and the 8.7 km Basai ROB to Kherki Daula comprise the two packages that make up the 19 km long Haryana section of the 8-lane expressway, which was built at an approximate cost of ₹4,100 crore. Direct access to the Gurugram Bypass and Delhi’s IGI Airport will be provided by this stretch.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened a number of significant projects, such as:
- Delhi’s 9.6-kilometer, six-lane Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II).
- Three sections of Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow Ring Road.
- The Andhra Pradesh part of NH16 between Anandapuram, Pendurthi, and Anakapalli.
- The Himachal Pradesh stretch of NH-21 from Kiratpur to Nerchowk.
- Karnataka’s Dobaspet-Heskote portion.

The Prime Minister set the groundwork for a number of National Highway initiatives, such as:
- Fourteen packages of the Andhra Pradesh Bengaluru-Kadappa-Vijayawada Expressway.
- Six packages of the Karnataka section of NH-748A, Belgaum – Hungund – Raichur.
- Three sections of the Haryana Shamli-Ambala Highway.
- Punjab’s two packages of the Amritsar-Bathinda corridor.
- 39 other projects for a combined 32,700 crores across several states.
Today’s traffic advisory for the Dwarka Expressway:
- Until 4 pm, the public is encouraged to take the Dwarka Clover Leaf to IMT route only if required.
- Due to the large gathering, Antriksh Chowk Road will be temporarily closed and rerouted.
- Using the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway (KMP) is advised for heavy vehicles.
- Heavy vehicles are permitted on the Dwarka Expressway after 5:00 p.m.
- Vatika Chowk is where vehicles from Rewari, Narnaul, and Dharuhera are routed.
- Vehicles using the Clover Leaf roads come from Palwal, Sohna, and Faridabad.
- Vehicle route plans from Pataudi and Ghariharsaru differ.
