New Gurgaon’s Dwarka Expressway is India’s first urban elevated highway.
The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has been instructed by Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to expeditiously open the Gurgaon segment of the Dwarka Motorway to the public. Although the Gurgaon stretch’s official opening date has not yet been set, Rao Inderjit Singh, a member of parliament from Gurgaon and Minister of State, has informed us that the building is 100% finished. It is anticipated that this stretch will open by the end of February. There are rumours that the inauguration will just involve the Delhi stretch.
A cloverleaf interchange connects the Delhi Gurgaon Motorway and South Peripheral Road (SPR) close to Kherki Daula on the Gurgaon section of the Dwarka Motorway.

The Delhi Leg of the Dwarka Motorway is almost 80% of the way finished, according to reports supplied by National Highways Authority of India authorised officials.
